Attenuation Tanks Flood water storage systems Let's go! Attenuation tanks can help to reduce, or even eliminate flooding, erosion, and damage caused by flooding during extreme rainfall situations. Attenuation tanks, shoebox liners or SUDS (Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems) manage extreme rainfall in urban areas or in areas where large amounts of non-porous material stops natural water runoff into grass, soil and waterways. The storm water is collected by normal road gullies and temporarily stored for a period of time. The water is released in to the sewer network through a “control manhole” that only allows a controlled volume of flow through to the mains. Attenuation tanks can be manufactured in a variety of materials to suit your project and built to any size. We supply and install attenuation tanks or supply pre-fabricated tanks to the required specifications and deliver to site for self install. Water-Land Solutions have more than 20 years of experience in the fabrication and installation of Geomembrane and Geotextile liners for a multitude of projects. We use our expertise in floodwater management to advise on everything from the best overall approach, to the optimum geomembranes or erosion control products to use.
